Make the evidence
part of the work.

1. Define what the client will need

Start with the agreed scope and the client’s requirements for reports, photos, tests, and formats. Connect those requirements to the work that produces them. Avoid waiting until closeout to discover that a specific photo or test result was expected.

2. Capture the day with context

A Daily Field Report should explain what happened, what remains incomplete, which issues affected the work, and what comes next. Photos and test results need enough context for a reviewer to understand the activity and requirement they support.

At Cedar Ridge, Day 1 antenna work is complete while grounding remains blocked. The report preserves that distinction so the office does not mistake a productive day for a finished project.

3. Review before handoff

Check the record against the required evidence. Resolve missing information or request corrections. Use Edit document to update a sent document. The earlier version stays in history when the changes are sent as a new version.

Job Hazard Assessments, sometimes called JSAs in the industry, belong to the safety workflow. Their presence in a package does not independently certify that work was safe or compliant.

4. Prepare, deliver, and record

Select the reviewed documents and photos for the End-of-Day Report Package, then download it. Deliver through your agreed client process and mark the package delivered after sending it.

A daily package supports the wider job record. A site closeout package may require additional tests, final documentation, corrective work, and client review. A downloaded file is not proof of delivery, and delivery is not proof of acceptance.

5. Keep acceptance visible

Track what the client accepts and what still requires action. Connect corrections to the work and evidence they concern, so the next response has the same context as the original handoff.
